MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was spared a trip to jail after she was cited for theft at Southbridge Mall.
A Mason City police officer was dispatched to a business in Southbridge Mall, 100 Soth Federal Avenue, reference a theft report. The officer cited and released an adult female, Megan Michelle Eckenrod, for fifth-degree theft.
Eckenrod was busted back in 2013 by area law enforcement for delivery of a counterfeit substance. She was later sent to a residential facility and has other drug-related arrests.
OK, I’m game, what was in Southbridge Mall that was worth stealing?
