MASON CITY – A Clear Lake man was taken to jail Monday night after a traffic complaint.
Mason City police located a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Brody Alan Buck Monday night, August 22 at about 10:12 PM at Jefferson Avenue and 5th Street NW. They had responded to the area due to a traffic complaint. Buck was pulled over and an investigation led to his arrest on charges of first-offense operating while under the influence, illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Buck was taken to jail, processed and released, pending a court date. He was found guilty earlier this year of possession of drug paraphernalia and ordered to pay $712.50 in fines and court fees. He was guilty of the same offense in 2015 and fined then, too.
