MASON CITY – Mayor Eric Bookmeyer has placed on the August 2, 2016 agenda for the Mason City City Council the calling of a special election to occur on September 20, 2016 to fill the vacant At Large City Councilperson Seat formerly held by the late Alex Kuhn on the Mason City City Council.

The council meets Tuesday night at 7 PM at the public library.
