IOWA FALLS – Two people with guns were taken to jail after a K-9 cop alerted to a narcotic odor during a traffic stop and thousands of dollars in meth was located.
On July 25th, 2016 at approximately 11:30 PM, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in Steamboat Rock on a vehicle being driven by Zachary Allen Scott Gray. The Ackley Police Department K-9 was requested to the scene, the K-9 alerted to a narcotic odor. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a substantial amount of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $19,500.00. Also located in the vehicle were two handguns one of which was stolen, and an undisclosed amount of money. A search warrant was conducted at a residence in Eldora which resulted in the recovery of additional stolen property. Two individuals were charged in connection with this investigation.
Zachary Allen Scott Gray of Eldora was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Class B Felony, and two counts of Carrying Weapons both Aggravated Misdemeanors. Gray is being held at the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office on a $25,000.00 bond.
Kara Ann Isenhower of Eldora was charged with Carrying Weapons an Aggravated Misdemeanor and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Isenhower is being held at the
