Wanted North Iowa man stopped and arrested

MASON CITY – A wanted man was stopped and arrested late Sunday night.

Khayman Marcelino Reyna, age 18 of Meservey, was pulled over by a Cerro Gordo deputy at 9:46 PM Sunday in Thornton. Reyna had been wanted on an arrest warrant out of Hamilton county in connection with a drunk driving arrest back on May 7 after Iowa State Patrol stopped and arrested him. Reyna failed to appear in court on May 25 for an arraignment hearing.

During Sunday’s traffic stop, the deputy found Reyna was wanted on the warrant and had no SR-22 insurance and a revoked driver’s license. He was taken to jail and held on a total of $6,000 bond.
