MASON CITY – A Rockwell man was hurt in an ATV accident Tuesday morning.
The accident took place Tuesday, May 25 around 7:30 AM near 190th street and Vine Avenue in Cerro Gordo County.
A 2014 Polaris Ranger ATV being operated by 59-year-old Francis J. Hanig of Rockwell, Iowa, was traveling west bound on 190th street. Hanig lost control of the ATV and entered the north ditch, causing the ATV to roll.
As a result of the crash, Francis was transported to Mercy Hospital by Ambulance for non-life threatening injuries.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Department was assisted by Mason City Fire Medics and Nora Springs Rescue.
