Mason City man arrested twice after burglary incidents

MASON CITY – A Mason City man was caught twice by Mason City police after alleged burglary incidents.

Mason City police were called to 407 21st Street SE to take a burglary report on May 16 after 4 PM. Soon thereafter, 20-year-old Jesse Kenen Rafael was arrested on a charge of burglary in the second degree.

Apparently, Rafael was released from jail. A few days later, on May 21, Rafael allegedly tried to steal a bike somewhere between Kentucky Avenue and Moonstone Court. He was arrested and taken to jail, where he is now held on bond, awaiting a May 27 court hearing.

Rafael was also recently charged with interference with a corrections official, possession of drug paraphernalia (twice), and trespass.

This is what the dopers do. They steal from honest, hard working people and trade the stolen goods for drugs. When the druger creep lived in our neighborhood they would come in with their cars and vans loaded with stolen stuff every night. They would use other peoples property just like money and trade for what ever the wanted. The police arrest them and the judges slap their hand and turn them loose to do it again.

lots of homes in the SW part of town are, shall we say, fully protected!! Hopefully he will break into the wrong one. And the problem will take care of itself

He was stealing a lot in the southwest part of town.. even within a block of two police officers. Hell one of his stash/chop shops is literally 200 feet from a cops hlise and 500 feet from a lieutenants

Hope they get hus butt buddy jamie evenson too

And Jacob..and Justin Krueger who was holding all his bikes for him.
