LEVELLAND, Texas – NIACC’s Zach Freund placed 12th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NJCAA national track and field meet Wednesday in a time of 9 minutes, 56.79 seconds.
Also for the NIACC men Wednesday, Imad Amenzou placed 11th in the 800 prelims in 1:54.16 and did not make the finals. Jose Aguilera was 14th in the 1,500 prelims in 4:09.48 and did not advance to the finals.
For the NIACC women, Sola Stephenson placed 13th in the heptathlon with 3.853 points. Jordan Lane placed 22nd in the 3,000 steeplechase in 13:50.23
