MASON CITY – A Mason City man has been sent to jail for drunk driving.
Kelly Jon Waslick, age 47, had been stopped and arrested by a Cerro Gordo deputy back on October 22, 2015, for drunk driving, second-offense possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance. He later pleaded guilty to the drunk driving charge and the drug possession charge; the other charges were dismissed.
Warlock – a convicted felon for burglary and theft – was given two days in jail for drunk driving. He was also sentenced to 365 days in jail with 363 days suspended. He was also given two years of probation, ordered to give a DNA sample and must pay $2,357.75 in fines and court fees.
A charge of driving while revoked was also dismissed.
