Mason City man after brawl: “F*** the police im goin to jail”

MASON CITY – A Mason City man pleaded for help as cops hauled him to jail after a North End brawl this weekend.

“F*** the police im goin to jail bond me out,” 20-year-old Michael Isiah Schenker said via social media Sunday morning after Mason City police arrested him.

Schenker told his crew that he was “gettin booked in fo agrevated assault n simple possession f*** the police (sic)”.

Schenker’s pleas came as a result of an incident Sunday night, May 8, at 8:16 PM. A fight involving 5-6 people was reported at 1436 North Jefferson. “Schenker is accused of using brass knuckles to strike an associate in the head during an argument,” police told NIT. “The victim had a laceration on his head from the assault.”

Later Monday, a Mason City man told NIT he was the victim in this assault.

Bill Eliason told NIT “Yeah him and his friend drove a truck into my garage I walked outside said what the f*** when Mike was inside the garage just me and him he pulls his fist back to hit me I block soon as I put my hands down he sucker-punched me Square in the face … As I staggered back he pulled out the brass knuckles that had these nice little spikes on them and me and him rumbled and around and that’s all the fight went it was just two people not a group.”

Mr. Eliason says he sought medical treatment from his injuries.

“Yeah where he punched me in the top of the head wouldn’t quit bleeding after a few hours I did get a couple staples in the head … he ran down the alley and his knuckles underneath the green Mustang about a half a block away cops did find them.”

Schenker was arrested for Aggravated Assault and Possession of Controlled Substance (marijuana).  His pleas for cash from his friends so far have gone unheeded, as he remained jailed on $2,000 bond Monday.

Schenker has remained on probation since 2014, when he was accused of burglary and pleaded guilty to first-degree harassment.  He’s been found guilty twice of violating that 2-year probation term.  In January of 2015, he was finally sent to prison, but soon released.  He came back to Mason City, where he was originally placed in the Beje Clark Halfway house before calling the North End home.

Man I oive my carry permit and Herky at my side.

First and the biggest there was no drug deal gone bad. Second only one actually attacked Bill. The other two people that were there, one was on the phone up front for awhile and the other sat in the truck until it was done. What is being said by the friends that is totally wrong is that Bill threw the first punch and that is not true ( Mike did ). They are protecting there friend. I can understand that but when you attack my husband there is no protecting you from what you deserve and that is Jail time.

He got his wish, not our best or bhrightest

Drug deal gone bad. This is not how it happened. There were three of them that went after the guy who lives there. One black and two whites. They were seen by neighbors that called the police. Just covering for each other so they don’t get accused of snitching.

No it as two blacks, one white, and a three legged dog named Cat!

Your tattoo should say Loser, because what you have is an oxymoron. Where’s your crew at now, you know that when you live in the jungle, only the strong survive. You look tired, so a few days in jail will help you catch up on sleep, lol
