Two men dead in St. Paul shooting

ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA – Saint Paul police are investigating a shooting that left two people dead on Tuesday, March 22.

Officers were called to a scene on the 900-block of Snelling Avenue North at about 9:30 p.m. on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was lying in the parking lot of a business, the other was lying on the off-ramp from Snelling Avenue to Pierce Butler Route. Saint Paul Fire medics were called to the scene and rendered aid. Both victims were later pronounced dead without being transported to a hospital.

Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses, determining what led to the shooting and looking for a suspect or suspects.

The Saint Paul Police Department is working with the Ramsey County medical examiner to determine an exact cause of death and confirm the victims’ identities.

Victims from Tuesday night’s homicide were later identified as Nicholas Bennett Tousley, 30, and Dominque Charles Moss, 23.
