This is just like police pulling up right behind you in your car and making you nervous. Might not be against law but no less makes you nervous. Z

It was a publicity stunt to intimidate our young kids. It is all most like bullying. To me it was a sublinal threat. That is really a good way to reach out to our kids. Hell lets do a shake down when they walk through the door. Intimidation and power is not education. You reach out to kids with being their friend and making them feel like they matter. Yes there needs to be law and order. When you plant the seed at that age it will usually not productive. With the way police, educators and parents over react to everything now days this is counter productive. What lesson was taught and what was gained.

I think you people are overreacting. There is definitely drugs in our schools. All they did was walk a dog through the halls. It wasn’t like they did a line up. They are trying to protect the decent kids from the thugs.

Even in middle school this is sad. Kids being treated as if they are adults. The war on drugs has no bounds. What next strip searches. Great plublicity stunt. This is a good way to turn middle age kids against the police.

Good point on turning kids against the cops. Kids see armed law enforcement from at least 2 agencies out in the hall sniffing through their stuff for no good reason… just because they have overwhelming force and schools won’t deny them access… it’s no wonder police have an image problem.
