CHARLES CITY, IOWA – Another search was conducted by law enforcement in Charles City today.
The Charles City Police Department reports that they “just got done with a narcotics search warrant” this afternoon. The search was conducted in the 1300 block of Missouri Avenue. Assisting Charles City police was the Floyd County Sheriff’s deputies.
“The combined agencies executed the warrant on the house and found 4 people at the residence,” the department said. “The officers seized numerous narcotics-related items. They also located a motorcycle at the residence which had been reported stolen in July 2014.”
Police say multiple charges are pending on several people.
On January 5 of this year, the Charles City police department executed a total of thee search warrants that morning. They were looking for weapons and narcotics. You can read about those searches here.
