Estherville police rid streets of weed smoker

ESTHERVILLE, IOWA – A traffic infraction by a man possibly toking on a little weed put him behind bars.

The Estherville police department reported Monday that on January 30, 2016 at approximately 4:03 AM, officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction on West Central Avenue. Upon making contact with the driver, police could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of a small amount of Marijuana and a Marijuana Pipe.

The driver was identified as 35-year-old Dustin Moffett. Moffett was placed under arrest and was transported to the Emmet County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Moffett appeared in front of a judge and was released on a $1,500 unsecured bond.

Can you take down this article. It is a form of slander and I WILL assist my friends in legal support. Beacuse he was never charged with anything involving this allegation.

Was he never charged or was he charged but the charges were dropped?

There’s a lot of hatred in that title. I bet NIT won’t do a story about the benefits of Cannabis or how it’s medical benefits could improve Iowan lives.
