FOREST CITY, IOWA – A Forest City woman was jailed for allegedly stealing booze from a convenience store.
Forest City police were called on December 28, 2015 at 3:05 PM, to Sid’s Gas & Grocery, located at 1116 Highway 69 South. Police say that Rachel Larae Johnson, age 32 of Forest City, was arrested and charged with two counts of fifth-degree theft. The arrest was made following a report of theft of alcohol from the store.
Arrested in Mason City back in 2013 and charged by police with fifth-degree theft, to which she pled guilty. She was ordered to pay $568.75 in fines and court fees, and records show she has yet to make a payment.
