Shelton has extensive experience with non-profits such as the American Heart Association, and “will bring creativity and passion to her new role in helping us empower girls to reach their full potential.”
The Girl Scouts also described Shelton as “an emerging leader in the Central Iowa community, Beth has experience with various non-profit organizations, including the American Heart Association and Simpson College. She is a graduate of Simpson and holds an MBA from Drake University.”
Shelton replaces Jamie Boersma, who retired from Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa effective August 31, 2015.
