Clear Lake woman guilty of third drunk driving offense

CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake woman is guilty of her third drunk driving offense and is serving her sentence in jail at this time.

Responding to a report of a possible drunk driver, a Cerro Gordo deputy located 35-year-old Michaela Lynn Dohlman of Clear Lake, operating a vehicle near Killdeer Avenue and 255th Street Wednesday, August 19 at about 9:33 PM. After an investigation during the ensuing traffic stop, Dohlman was arrested on a charge of first offense operating while intoxicated.

Dohlman pled guilty to first offense operating while intoxicated on October 27. She was sentenced to 2 days in jail, ordered to pay $1,875.50 in fines and court fees, and lost her driver’s license. Dohlman was convicted of drunk driving back in 2002 and 2000.

In addition, Ms. Dohlman was caught stealing in 2014 and was charged by Mason City police with theft in the fifth degree. She was ordered to pay $387.50 in fines and court costs.
