RURAL CLEAR LAKE – Cerro Gordo deputies caught an accused domestic abuser from Minneapolis during a traffic stop early Monday.
Arrested was 22-year-old Deovion Telon Echoles of Minneapolis, Minnesota as he deputies stopped a vehicle a the 193 northbound mile marker of Interstate 35 Monday morning at 12:28 AM. Echoles was wanted in Minnesota on a warrant connected to domestic abuse assault involving strangulation.
Echoles was taken to the county jail where he is being held on no bond, with a likely transfer to Hennepin county.
