MASON CITY – Law enforcement responded to a vehicle in a ditch and discovered an allegedly intoxicated teen at the scene.
Mason City police and Cerro Gordo deputies responded at 1:21 AM Thursday to a single vehicle that had crashed in a ditch near Orchid Avenue and 300th Street.
After an investigation at the scene, the driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Jarrik Robert Greer of Mason City, was placed under arrest. He was charged with 1st offense operating while intoxicated, failure to maintain control, and underage consumption of alcohol. He remains jailed at this time.
