MANCHESTER, IOWA – Two men were arrested after they allegedly robbed a child in a small Iowa town.
According to Manchester, Iowa Chief of Police James R. Hauschild, on August 10, 2015, the Manchester Police Department received a call of a juvenile that had been a victim of a robbery. An investigation uncovered that two males approached the victim, then threatened the victim with physical violence. They told the victim to give them the victim’s clothes and other personal items. The suspects fled the scene with the victim’s clothes and personal items.
The child was unharmed.
The next day, two male suspects were caught and arrested. Mario Rucker/January, age 17 of Evanston, Illinois, was charged with 2nd Degree Robbery (a Class C Felony). The same charge was brought against Daniel Lamonte Jones, age 23, of Manchester, Iowa. Jones remains jailed at this time.
