PLYMOUTH – A Plymouth man was jailed for domestic assault.
Cerro Gordo deputies responded to a report of a domestic situation on July 18, just before 10 PM, in Plymouth. Upon arrival and investigation, 19-year-old Gabriel Earl Craighton was arrested on a charge of first offense domestic abuse assault. According to social media posts, alcohol may have been a factor in the incident, which involved a female victim.
Craighton was taken to jail, and a no contact order was set by a judge. However, on July 22, the no contact order was lifted.
Craighton has a preliminary hearing in court on August 7.
