MANCHESTER, IOWA – An Iowa man was stopped by law enforcement and found to be drunk and in possession of the illegal drug methamphetamine.
On May 12, 2015, an officer with the Manchester Police Department conducted a traffic stop on West Main Street in that community. During the course of that traffic stop officers gathered information which led them to believe the driver was involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted. According to Chief of Police James Hauschild, officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested on May 21 was 21-year-old Kaleb Glenn Gress of Postville, Iowa. He was charged with first offense operating while intoxicated, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver (a Class C Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
