MASON CITY – A man already on probation for public intoxication was chased by police this weekend and arrested.
Kaleb Matthew Alexander, age 24 of Mason City, was arrested early Sunday morning in the Cultural Crescent near North Delaware Avenue and 2nd Street. Police observed him on foot, deemed him suspicious, and chased him as he ran away. After four cops gave pursuit, Alexander was caught and arrested on charges of public intoxication and interference. He was released later Sunday.
Alexander is already on probation for public intoxication out of Black Hawk county.
That there Cultural center is sure all of that – more arrests in that area than on N. Monroe – more statues needed – As Meridith would say – There’s trouble in River City. But we all know it’s a public servant screwed up mess .
@Anonymous-If they arrested everyone they should on Monroe they jail would be full. They just try to do crowd control and arrest the main ones. It is getting downright scary to drive down there after dark.
