MANCHESTER, IA – Law enforcement in this small Iowa town were tipped off about an alleged sexual relationship between an adult male and a teen girl, leading to the man’s arrest.
A concerned individual contacted the Manchester Police Department about an inappropriate relationship between a 14-year-old female and an adult male. An investigation uncovered a 29-year-old male, Michael Anthony Cole of Manchester, had sexual relations with the girl on at least three occasions.
Cole was arrested on April 22, 2015 on 3 counts of Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree Second or subsequent offense, a Class A Felony.
At this time, Cole is also facing felony burglary charges and violations of the state’s sex offender registry. He was convicted in 2008 in Delaware county for sexual abuse 3rd degree against a female teen.
