MASON CITY – A Mason City man found guilty this year of second offense drunk driving was arrested along with his girlfriend this weekend for public intoxication.
Ryan C. Kraft, age 35, and his girlfriend, 23-year-old Samantha Ann Marie Willetts, were arrested at 1:17 AM in the 200 block of North Federal Avenue after a Mason City police officer witnessed a liquor violation. Both were booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail after 2 AM Sunday morning on charges of public intoxication and released later Sunday.
Kraft was found guilty last week of second offense operating while intoxicated after an arrest in March by Cerro Gordo deputies. He was ordered to pay $2,681.25 in fines and court fees, serve 7 days in jail and submit a DNA sample.
He was also found guilty of drunk driving in 2013 after an arrest by Mason City police.
