SWALEDALE – Volunteer fire fighters in Swaledale conducted a controlled burn on an abandoned house in a training exercise.
Swaledale Mayor John Drury reported that the controlled burn training exercise would take place Saturday morning in his community. The Swaledale Fire Department partnered with neighboring departments and conducted a training fire and controlled burn on this abandoned property in Swaledale today. The exact address wasn’t provided, but appeared to be near other houses in town.
