Fort Dodge cops says argument led to shooting

gunFORT DODGE – Police in Fort Dodge responded to shot fired Thursday and found bullet holes in the side of a building, the apparent result of an argument between two individuals.

According to Fort Dodge police, on April 16, 2015 at approximately 2:10 PM, officers with the Fort Dodge Police Department responded to a shooting call in the area of the 10 block of N. 15th and 16th Streets. During the course of the investigation, officers spoke to a number of witnesses to this crime. Officers also located at least four bullet holes in the side of a building located in the 10 block of N. 16th Street.

No one was injured during this incident and Fort Dodge Police are currently following up on leads to this investigation. Based on the information investigators received from witnesses at the scene, it is believed that this is an isolated incident between two arguing individuals.
