NIT – Texas Senator Ted Cruz announced early this morning his intention to run for President in the 2016 election.

In a video posted to his Twitter account, the right-wing 44-year-old Republican who was born in Canada said “It’s a time for truth, a time to rise to the challenge, just as Americans have always done. I believe in America and her people, and I believe we can stand up and restore our promise. It’s going to take a new generation of courageous conservatives to help make America great again. And I’m ready to stand with you to lead the fight.”

He said “It’s going to take a new generation of courageous conservatives to make America great again,” and that he is “ready to stand with you to lead that fight, and I hope to earn your support.”

Cruz has made his name by opposing President Barack Obama on most issues, most notably his Obamacare health insurance initiative, his support of the Keystone pipeline and anti-union stance.

This just in and it is truly priceless!

Ted Cruz’s wife goes on leave from Goldman-Sachs.
She loses her and Ted’s health insurance.

Now, Cruz who has vowed to destroy the ACA (Obamacare), has said that he will sign up for insurance through Obamacare exchange system.

It doesn’t get any better than this folks.
Hypocrisy redefined. Cruz is about as two faced as you can get.

What a slime-ball.

@Anonymous-You are way out of line with your comments. He is required by law to take out Obamacare if he has none. Get your facts straight before posting B.S. He is obeying the law until the Supreme Court invalidates the illegal law by Obama.

And you are talking out of your lower orifice.

He is required to get insurance, it DOES NOT have to be through the ACA.

Get your facts straight before you comment.
But then facts for you never are important.

Thanks for bringing reason to the conversation.

In a way LVS was right, according to the law everybody has to have insurance either private or ACA so I am not sure anonymous gets his info, was it cruz was losing his insurance or he could lose it I don’t know but what I understand from what was just said say cruz loses it and then he goes through the ACA, wouldn’t that be saying that if the insurance is good for you then it is good for me no matter how much I want to get rid of it.

“Cruz advisers said there was nothing unusual about the senator signing up for insurance coverage through the ACA. They argued that Obamacare has wiped out the individual market, leaving Cruz with few options.”

Wiped out the individual market?
C’mon not even a Tea Party person would believe that…well Maybe.

It is just truly ironic that Cruz who hates the ACA, has now CHOSEN to use it.

Cruz= Snake-oil Salesman / Flim-flam artist / Lying Hypocrite

democrats find fault with everything republicans do and vice versa.

I don’t have problem admitting when Democrats make mistakes.
President Obama has made some that I have not been happy with.
And I can’t stand a few of democrats like Pelosi & Reid

That said, I have yet see any of you right wingers acknowledge or even own up to mistakes made by Republicans.

Anyone willing to wager one of you right-wingers owning up to Republican mistakes without mentioning a democrat?

Anyone, Bueller….Bueller?

Then you haven’t been paying attention because I have said many times that I don’t like most of the democrats and quite a few republicans. I am an independent, I vote the person and so far I have not been convinced by anybody EXCEPT for clinton, if she gets in alot of military personnel will die.

It’s comments like the one above which defy logic. Maybe says that if Clinton gets in office then he is positive soldiers will die. The stunning part is he’s overlooked the fact that soldiers ACTUALLY DIED under George W. Bush. It’s like Maybe has been issued a pair brain bending glasses by the Pentagon which restricts his vision to Coke Bottle Lens Clarity. Seriously? It’s so goofy that it must be deliberate. No one could be that myopically stupid.

It’s statements like that anon that show the stupidity of some people now. Always blaming someone else. Yes soldiers died under bush because it was a war, actually more soldiers died under obama in the same places but do you mention that, no. The reason they will die under clinton is because she will send them into a hot area and ignore them letting them die. Just like Benghazi and Mogadishu.

Blowing smoke out of your posterior again, huh Maybe?

US troops killed in Iraq Under Bush = 4493
US troops killed in Iraq Under Obama = 256
US troops killed in Afghanistan Under Bush = 630
US troops killed in Afghanistan Under Obama = 1726

US troops killed Under Bush = 5123
US troops killed Under Under Obama = 1982

They should all be listed under Bush, as Obama is just trying to clean up Bush’s mess.

“Mission Accomplished” my ass.

Oh and and Osama bin Laden
Bush 0
Obama 1

actually it’s more like 4400 for bush 234,890 for obama, see I can make up numbers too and the numbers that you posted are not even close to the report that I saw and by the way the posting was about clinton so you had to change the subject too huh. Don’t forget about whitewater and all the people associated with that that her and her husband killed.

Fact #1 The numbers that I posted were from the US DOD.
Yours are just being factitious, because you can’t admit the truth
Fact #2 You previous post was about the number of soldiers killed under President Obama.
You can’t handle facts.
Fact #3 You then brought up the Clinton’s
Again, proving that you can’t handle the facts by sidestepping the issue.

You should stick to something like arts & crafts, because debating with logic and reason is definitely not your forte in life.

This guy is way to far to the right for me. I don’t like right wingers telling me what to do any more than I like left wingers doing it.

He is not to far right for me, neither is Walker. Bring this this thing forward quickly and we can chose a good candidate this time and not let the RNC chose one for us like last time.

Cruz & Walker, you can’t be serious.

Ted Cruz is neither ignorant nor stupid.
Cruz only cares about Cruz.
His supporters are the ones that are ignorant and stupid.

Scott Walker on the other hand is an idiot. He’s not allowed to make up his mind without checking with the Koch’s first.

These two have to be the absolute worst possible candidates for the Republicans.
Chose one of these two and the Democrats have the election sewed up.

The democrats have nobody that can win so it doesn’t matter who the republicans pick they are a shoein.

The party of stupid and/or corrupt. Not talking about the Dems either. An educated, well informed, tolerant society = less to no wins for Republicans. So if the population continues towards the trend of enlightenment, Repubs will never win, but if Repubs manage to dumb down the general population, they might win with fear, misinformation, and LVS style brow beating. Let’s hope not.

there ya have it folks. Stay in school and don’t hassle people on the internet! Do as he says not as he does.

@John-I would maybe go with Walker, but Cruz is just to radical for me. Rubio would be O.K. but I really like what I have seen of Carson. I would like to see more of him. I feel about Bush the same as Clinton. We do not need a dynasty in the White House. At least that is my opinion.
