Sheffield man faces 9 charges of felony theft

MASON CITY – Police have brought a total of 6 felony theft charges against a Sheffield man.

Blake James Brady, age 19, faces a total of 9 felony second degree theft charges. Six charges were brought by Mason City police; two charges from Clear Lake police and 1 charge was brought by the Cerro Gordo sheriff’s office. Brady was last arrested on November 10 at NIACC campus in connection to the theft of a trailer. A source tells NIT that Brady is thought to have stolen more tan one trailer and was finally caught.

Brady was taken to jail and held on bond but later released. He awaits a hearing on November 21.
