MASON CITY – A trial date and a not guilty plea has been entered by a Mason City man accused of strangulation during a domestic incident.
Jesse Stull, age 22, was arrested on October 28 after police were called to an apartment at 525 South President on a report of a struggle between a male and a female involved in a physical altercation. After an investigation, Stull was arrested and charged with domestic assault and felony domestic assault after he allegedly struck his girlfriend and impeded her ability to breath. Stull’s girlfriend was briefly hospitalized.
Stull has entered a not guilty plea to the charges, and awaits a jury trial on January 6, 2015. He is still being held int he county jail on $5,000 cash-only bond.
