OSAGE – An Osage man was arrested for a second time on drug charges this week, after law enforcement investigations.
On October 21, 2014, the Osage Police Department, assisted by the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Jeffery Morrison, age 26 of Osage, on a Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Class C Felony. Morrison was also charged by the Osage Police Department with Ongoing Criminal Conduct, A Class B Felony. Morrison is being held in the Mitchell County Jail on bond.
Previously, on Friday September 12, 2014, the combined efforts in an investigation by the North Iowa Drug Task Force, Osage Police Department and the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of Morrison on two counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver, one a Class C and the other a Class D Felony. Morrison is being held at the Mitchell County Jail as he awaits a hearing on October 31.
Further charges are pending while the investigation remains active.
