CHARLES CITY – Police arrested a Charles City woman this past weekend for assault.
On October 4 at about 12:48 AM, police went to the 400 block of 7th Avenue after an emergency call was made about an assault. Police arrived, and after an investigation, officers arrested 18-year-old Cassandra Stinnett on a charge of first offense domestic assault.
Stinnet was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance as she awaits a court date.
