MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested early Saturday for drunk driving.
A Cerro Gordo deputy stopped a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Anthony Roy Sorenson near Pheasant Avenue and 310th Street at about midnight. After an investigation, the deputy determined that Sorenson was intoxicated and placed him under arrest for first offense operating while intoxicated. He was jailed, booked and released pending a court date.
Sorenson is a convicted felon. He was accused of felony eluding and leaving the scene of an injury accident, felony drug possession, and other crimes.
