MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested this week on a charge of harassment, a charge he has already pled guilty to once this year.
Late on the evening of September 16 at about 11:48 PM, Mason City police responded to the area of 10 1st Street NW, in a parking lot west of city hall, for a disturbance call. At the scene, police encountered Nick Alan Moser, age 21.
Moser arrived later in a vehicle, exited and approached the female who was near several witnesses. Moser is accused of threatening a female that he was going to retrieve a gun from his car and shoot her. The female and her friends were already parked in the parking lot.
Moser was arrested and charged with harassment. He was later released pending a court date.
On March 31, 2014, police went to the home of Nick Alan Moser to discuss a harassment case connected to a business at 2400 19th Street SW. Moser was found guilty of third degree harassment on May 28, 2014. A second harassment charge was dismissed. Moser was sentenced to two days in jail and assessed $111.65 in court costs and other fees.
