Rockford man pleads guilty to theft

BENTON COUNTY, IOWA – A Rockford man has taken a guilty plea in a theft case.

Benton county sheriffs arrested Emanuel Curtis Receveur III – AKA “Skunk” – on April 22 on a warrant on a charge of fifth degree theft brought by Waverly police on April 8. Receveur was later transported to the Bremer County Jail and released. Just prior to his July 15 non-jury trial, Receveur pled guilty and was assessed $332.31 in court costs, fines and restitution.

Receveur is a convicted felon on charges of terrorism and robbery out of Black Hawk county.
