WAVERLY – An Iowa man and convicted meth-maker was caught allegedly driving drunk with a child in the car after a domestic assault incident, recently.
According to the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office, on June 29th, 2014, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle all over the road on Highway 63. After an investigation, Wade Wolter Cole of Cedar Falls was arrested. Cole is charged with Operating While Intoxicated, Child Endangerment, Domestic Abuse Assault, Failure to Prove Security Against Liability, two counts of Driving While License Suspended and Fail to Maintain Registration Plate.
Cole posted bond on July 8th, but was accused on July 14th of violating a protective order with his alleged domestic assault victim, and was jailed. He awaits a July 25th hearing.
