MASON CITY – Authorities responded to an auto accident Saturday afternoon on Mason City west side.
Details were still emerging Saturday after a two-car accident in Mason City near Taft Avenue and 4th Street SW. Police, fire and ambulance responded to the scene and helped move the vehicles out of the roadway, into the Bonanza Steakhouse parking lot. Fire personnel check the vehicles after what appeared to be a rear-end accident. One person was said to be complaining of back pain, but no one rode to the hospital in an ambulance.
