MASON CITY – A former manager of a Mason City hotel turned himself into police Friday on three felony charges.
Robert Chester Walker, age 55, was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail Friday morning on charges of felony D second degree theft; felony D second degree fraudulent practices; and felony D on-going criminal conduct.
Mason City police took a report of embezzlement from the Holiday Inn Express, 3041 4th Street SW, with Walker being the suspect. He was the general manager there at the time of the incident, police said. The alleged crimes took place between September of 2013 and December of 2013.
