MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested and jailed Monday for allegedly violating his probation related to a drug charge.
Jamison D. Diekhuis, age 19, was arrested by Mason City at Kentucky Fried Chicken onMonday at about 12:25 PM on an arrest warrant for violating the terms of his probation on a possession of marijuana guilty plea. Diekhuis had been ordered to pay $382.80 in court costs after he plead guilty and was given a deferred judgement in 2013, but had never made a payment, despite claiming to be employed at Schukei Chevrolet.
Diekhuis is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $1,000 cash-only bond. He awaits an April 18 court date.
