Mason City woman arrested twice in one week

MASON CITY – Public intoxication and serious assault landed a Mason City woman behind bars twice this week.

Police reported that Angela Sue Anderson, age 51, was arrested for public intoxication on April 8 at the Cerro Gordo County Courthouse. She was taken to jail, booked and released.

Then on April 11, Anderson turned herself in to police at the Mason City police department on a charge of serious domestic assault and simple assault. She was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail, booked and held on $2,000 cash-only bond.
