In addition to Senator Ragan, House Majority Leader Linda Upmeyer and State Representatives Sharon Steckman and Josh Byrnes will participate.
“We want these two economic development leaders to hear firsthand about the opportunities in North Iowa” said Ragan. “We will explore the wide variety of issues that affect job growth. They include skilled job training, cultural and recreational attractions, historic preservation, and other economic incentives. The goal is learn how the State of Iowa can help our communities prosper.”
Co-sponsors of the event include North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) and the North Central Iowa Alliance (NCIA).
The event is open to the public and will take place from 2 PM to 3:30 PM on Friday, April 4, at NIACC’s Muse Norris Conference Center.
