MASON CITY – The Mason City High School 9th and 10th grade Honors English Program would like to extend an invitation to the community to join them in celebrating poets and poetry at the Annual Poetry Festival to be held on Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 3-5 p.m. in the Mason City High School Gym. There will be a small program celebrating over 90 world renowned poets. Displays, presentations and information about the poets provided by the Honors English students will be set up in the gym. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be provided.
Please come and see what the students have learned and share in the knowledge the Honors English students have to share about poets and poetry. This event is sponsored by Honors English Program instructors, Mrs. Stanton, Mrs. Nelson and Ms. Peterson.
