DES MOINES – On Wednesday, January 22nd, the Des Moines Police Communications Center received a call from the Walgreen’s Store at 3140 SE 14th Street reporting a robbery.

DMPD Patrol Officers responded and met with an employee who stated a white male adult entered the store at 3:19 AM brandishing a large knife. The suspect is described as appx. 5’8” and 150 lbs. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt with a T-shirt pulled up over his head and face like a mask/hood. At one point his mask fell from his face and the employee noted he had a goatee and hair that was “bleach blonde.” He took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store possibly getting into a vehicle. The suspects sweatshirt has some markings on it that may help in his identification.
