UNI goes for season sweep of Bradley

logo_uni_panthersCEDAR FALLS – The University of Northern Iowa men’s basketball team (10-8, 4-2 MVC) will look to sweep the season series against the Bradley University Braves (7-12, 2-4 MVC) on Wednesday. The Panthers and Braves will tip at 7 p.m. at Carver Arena.

The Panthers are averaging 72.7 points per game – the highest per game average since the 1993-94 season (75.0 ppg).

The 94 points scored by UNI vs. Missouri State are the most points scored against an MVC opponent in head coach Ben Jacobson’s tenure at UNI.

UNI guard Wes Washpun leads the league in field goal percentage in MVC games only at 65.7 percent.

UNI forward Seth Tuttle needs 16 points to become the 37th member of UNI’s 1,000-Point Scoring Club. Tuttle ranks No. 38 on UNI’s all-time scoring chart with 984 points heading into Wednesday’s game at Bradley.

THE MVC Player of the Week also leads the MVC in rebounding (7.9 rpg).
