IOWA CITY – An Iowa City man is in the Johnson County Jail at this time, accused of sex crimes.
The Cedar Rapids Gazette reported that according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Luis A. Contreras, age 31, met a 14 year old girl in 2011 and began a sexual relationship with her that lasted until recently. The Gazette reported that Contreras allegedly took the girl to several motels in the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area and their own homes for the purpose of having sex.
Contreras is also accused of taking an under-age girl to a Coralville hotel where he provided her with cocaine and alcohol before forcing himself upon her.
Contreras is charged with felony C sexual abuse in the third degree as well as operating while intoxicated. He is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
Simply messed up to take a kid and give her cocaine and alcohol and all the rest. No key needed once this joker is locked away.
