Cyclones fall to No. 22 Oklahoma in Norman

NORMAN, Okla. –The Iowa State football team (1-9, 0-7 Big 12) fell to the 22nd-ranked Oklahoma Sooners (8-2, 5-2 Big 12) 48-10 in front of a crowd of 84,776 at Gaylord Family – Memorial Stadium. Iowa State held a 10-3 lead up until the last few minutes in the first half, before the Sooners went on to score 45 unanswered points.

Holding onto a seven-point lead, 10-3, with about three minutes remaining in the first half, Oklahoma would run an Iowa State punt back for a touchdown to tie up the game 10-10. The Sooner’s would keep up the momentum entering the second half scoring 17 unanswered in the third quarter and shutting out the Cyclones for the remainder of the game for a 48-10 win.

Quenton Bundrage finished with six catches for 66 yards with a long of 22 for ISU. His 66 total yards was good for his fourth game this season with 50 or more receiving yards and the fifth of his career. It was also his third-highest total output of his career.
