MASON CITY – The Mason City Chamber of Commerce and Kaplan College sponsored Business After Hours “Unleashed” at the Knights of Columbus Hall Thursday night.
There were about a dozen business that participated in this event. Pat Palmer said, “It was a good event. I’m hoping they can build on it next year.”
Kara Ruge from the Mason City Chamber of Commerce visited Pat Palmer at the Computer Guy Booth. “This is a great opportunity for some of our home based businesses, businesses without a store front, or have inconvenient hours, anything like that where they can’t hold their own business after hours. The businesses are all in one spot where you can see what local businesses have to offer.”
Refreshments made by Bumbleberry Bakery were available.
Free gifts from the Computer Guy and $25.00 in “Chamber Bucks” were given away, according to those in attendance.
