MASON CITY – A woman with several prior convictions for shoplifting was busted at Wal-Mart late last week.
According to police, Peggijo Lynn Stinnett, 27, of Mason City, was arrested at Wal-Mart, 4151 4th Street SW, on August 27th for attempting to steal $126.00 worth of merchandise.
Police said that due to several prior convictions, the charge was enhanced to 3rd Degree Theft. Stinnett was taken to jail and later released.
Stinnett is also awaiting a pre-conference hearing set for September 30th for another charge of third degree theft brought by the Mason City Police Department last April.
