MASON CITY – A woman was arrested for public intoxication in the Cultural Crescent early Saturday morning.
Police said Saturday that Amy Leigh Weber, 40, of Mason City, was arrested on the plaza north of Southbridge Mall after “numerous calls about her causing problems.”
Mason City police and Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs responded to the incident at about 2 AM.
Weber was arrested and taken to jail, charged with public intoxication. She immediately plead guilty and was released.

How about a curfew, maybe it would cut down on the damage being done around town.

that girl was upset because one of the girls that brought her downtown slapped her on a dare, after being smacked for no provocation or even bad words–she stood up to tell the group of 3 mean girls that there would not be a return assault–being that they drove her there, about one mile away from her residence and being that things went left in a petty but premeditated ambush ploy, the girl was forced to try to get away after being ditched with no cabfare and little transportation. to boot, after hiding to try to escape more calamity after several hours, the law enforcement abushed that helpless terrified oldmaid in an unmarked truck at of all places, the emergency entrance at Mercy Hospital….last place the daddy was driven Alive in the town. Plead guilty to Public Intoxication which they usual did pick folks up for when they were walking home from a bar or other place where people had a few cold ones. Rookies! i’m talkin about the Girl!
