MASON CITY – Sheriff Kevin Pals on Thursday announced that the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force conducted a “concentrated effort” to arrest some North Iowa individuals with outstanding warrants, mostly drug related.
“These arrests are not necessarily related to the others,” Sheriff Pals stated in a news release.  He didn’t remark on a toll free number for addicts that would be available for some persons with drug issues.
All suspects arrested were taken to the Cerro Gordo County jail and held for bond.
Arrested on Thursday, August 1st:
- Anothony Bartusek DOB/050286 of rural Mason City charged with possession of controlled substance, bond $1000.00 cash/surety. He was also arrested on other warrants for driving under suspension (OWI) and reckless driving.
- Darcy Chase DOB/030280 of Mason City charged with five counts of possession of controlled substance (prescription drugs), bond $1000.00 cash/surety Posted Bond
- Todd Michael Cookman DOB/050669 of Clear Lake charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, bond $10,000.00 cash only
- Terry William Daniels DOB/013069 of Mason City charged with four counts of delivery of marijuana and one count of failure to affix drug tax stamp, bond $5,000.00 cash/surety
- John Vern Gerhard DOB/110460 of Mason City charged with driving while revoked and driving under suspension, bond $1,000.00 cash/surety Posted Bond
- Kelli Marie Kirk DOB/041170 of Mason City charged with possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, bond $1000.00 cash/surety
- Dylan Joseph Lewis DOB/110194 of Mason City charged with delivery of controlled substance with intent to deliver marijuana, bond $5,000.00 bond cash/surety Posted Bond
- Wendy Broaddus Maiolo of Nora Springs charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, bond $1000,000.00 cash/surety
